The Last Munchin’ Weekend.

The boyfriend and I have decided that we should probably eat the food that we have here this weekend and not throw it all away like I had originally suggested. I was a bit upset with our decision because I know that it could throw me off of my little motivated spark that I have going on here. What usually happens for us, though, is the simple fact that we say we can have junk for one more day and then go and buy a whole bunch of it…..of course not all of it is gone that day and then we just keep eating it anyway…yikes! This feels a bit different to me. Food is expensive, which is basically the main reason why we are doing this. It would not be in our best financial reason to get rid of our fatty frozen foods and terrible lunch meats. Therefore this weekend will be a consumption one that I am not proud of. Hopefully I have it in me to get rid of whatever we do not eat this weekend (hopefully there’s nothing left) and start fresh. I feel like I’m ready to start fresh…..but who knows if that is just talk? ….We shall see…

I totally know how that is. When I have junk food in the house I eat it all up just to get rid of it. Which is a terrible right? The trick is too get in the habit of buying the healthier foods. One thing you could do at the grocery store is shop in the perimeter as much as possible. That’s where all the nutritional food is. Avoid even walking down the junk food isles. Pretty soon you notice that you don’t even want to buy those potato chips. And cooking. Cooking your own food is 100 times better then eating out or eating frozen dinners. Good Luck!!

Thank you! I am actually going to post a picture in my next post of our shopping trip…I think it was pretty successful. Dustin and I decided to not indulge, but continue eating the stuff in our house until tonight. …Tonight I say goodbye to the cupcakes that were just baked over the week :P . …As well as some other things :) . I think we did pretty good! And thank you for the tip!! It’s so great to have others that know exactly what I am talking about — makes this a bit easier.
